  • Salvation Army Angel Tree donations

The Salvation Army Christmas Assistance program is designed to help the less fortunate in our Central Virginia community during the Christmas season. Thanks to gracious partners, The Salvation Army is able to provide gifts at Christmastime to some 3,000 families and about 5,000 children across Central Virginia. The Salvation Army Angel Tree program, in partnership with NBC12, allows the community to choose angels (children ages 0-14) from trees displayed at area malls and corporations and purchase gifts for that child at Christmas. Each angel represents an underprivileged child who, without the support of the community, might not have a Christmas. The donors adopt the angels by providing new clothing and gifts for their Christmas. EagleTele-Services participated in this program by donating clothes and toys this holiday season.

  • Thanksgiving Food Drive

Food Drives are a simple but powerful way to gather needed food contributions to sustain ongoing hunger-relief efforts across our community. Currently over 200,000 Central Virginians are food-insecure. Eagle is helping nourish them by donating needed food items for Thanksgiving. Last year Eagle donated over 364lbs of food - this year we hope to beat that record. Every Eagle employee who donates one or more items from a “Most Wanted” list will be entered in a drawing at the end of the Food Drive for one of five gift cards! Our goal this year is 100% participation.
